Workshops and classes

Join me on one of my many courses and let me inspire you to create your own paintings. I can bring out the artist in anyone. If you have the interest and desire to paint I have the ability and experience to teach you.

You can choose to work with watercolours or pastels and join a class designed for beginners or for improvers. Learn to draw and paint in a relaxed atmosphere where having fun and making friends is part of the experience.

I have been teaching Art for more than thirty years and my students often say they've learned more from my courses in a few days than from years attending other classes. I'll take away the mystery, build your confidence and have you painting pictures to be proud of.d of in no time.

I teach Animal Portraiture, Beginners Pastels and Beginners Watercolour at Suffolk New College which can be booked by following each link. Classes will run from the end of October to December and resume again in January.

If you want to make more of an experience, come and join me in one of my workshops at the beautiful Potton Hall in Suffolk. We are able to work en plein air or inside the heated studio depending on your preference and the weather. As part of the day you be served refreshments and you will also be treated to a fantastic home cooked lunch made from organic products sourced at the Hall.

On the painting days I limit the class size to a maximum of four people so you can be sure of individual attention. In my workshops all materials are provided so you are free to enjoy the day and not worry about buying art supplies before you begin. All of my students will go home with at least one finished piece of work and plenty of tips and hints that will help you continue with your newly acquired skills.kill.
